Abstract

Latar Belakang: Depresi merupakan gangguan mental yang umum terjadi dalam masyarakat. Mahasiswa tingkat akhir merupakan salah satu populasi yang rentan mengalami gangguan depresi akibat tuntutan akademik yang kompleks. Tujuan:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat depresi pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel terdiri dari 40 mahasiswa semester 5 dan 7 yang sedang dalam proses penyusunan skripsi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner data demografi dan Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI-II). Hasil:  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata usia responden 20,7 tahun (SD-0,8), mayoritas perempuan (80%), berada di semester 5 (62,5%), dan berasal dari FIKKES (70%). Sebagian besar responden (87,5%) masih dalam tahap proposal skripsi. Terkait tingkat depresi, 40% responden berada dalam kategori normal, 30% mengalami depresi ringan, 20% depresi sedang, dan 10% depresi berat. Kesimpulan: Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya sistem dukungan yang komprehensif dari institusi pendidikan, termasuk layanan konseling, pendampingan akademik, dan program kesehatan mental yang terintegrasi untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam mengatasi tekanan psikologis selama proses penyelesaian studi.
