Abstract

Latar Belakang: Mahasiswa Tingkat akhir dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah kesehatan mental. Kesehatan mental adalah kondisi psikologi dan emosional seseorang yang mungkinkannya untuk hidup dengan baik. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan Kesehatan mental dengan kualitas hidup mahasiswa semester akhir program studi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 48 orang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan November 2024. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner Kesehatan Mental dan WHOQOL-BREF. Analisis data menggunakan uji spearman-rank. Hasil: Sebagian besar mahasiswa di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang memiliki kesehatan mental dan kualitas hidup pada kategori sedang (27,1%). Hasil uji hipotesis diketahui nilai P = 0,009 (α = 0,05). Nilai korelasi ditunjukkan dengan nilai R = 0,473. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikkan antara kesehatan mental dengan kualitas hidup mahasiswa semester akhir di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Kesehatan mental yang baik akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan, termasuk dalam aspek sosial, fisik, dan emosional, yang pada gilirannya berdampak positif.
